【Your Role】

The company is aiming to further strengthen its security team in response to the growing security demands in recent years while maintaining the speed of business.

This position is for a Global Chief Security Officer (CSO) candidate who will oversee the company’s global security operations, including overseas subsidiaries. The role involves designing and driving security strategies from a global perspective.

【Mission】

【Responsibilities】

– Formulate and implement security strategy for the entire organization

– Formulate and promote security strategy based on mid-term business plan and single fiscal year

– Formulate and promote global security strategy in cooperation with US subsidiaries

– Improvement of productivity of the entire organization through utilization of generation AI, etc.

– Organizational Management

– Effectively organize the security group and support the group in achieving its goals

– Planning and execution of recruitment plans and appropriate human resource allocation

– Optimization of security-related budget management

– People Management

– Foster team culture and engagement

– Evaluate member performance

Required

– Understanding of standards and frameworks such as ISO/IEC 27001, ISO/IEC 27017, CIS Controls, SOC2 Type2

– Experience in selection, implementation and operation of security products or services such as EPP/EDR, CNAPP, etc.

– Experience in implementation and operation of network security measures such as FW, IDS/IPS, WAF, SWG/CASB

– Experience in technical security risk assessment for web applications, APIs, and platforms

– Experience with technical security risk assessments such as penetration testing, TLTP, RedTeam, etc.

– Experience developing and executing security strategies for a global environment

– Minimum of 10 people and 2 years of experience managing a security organization

– Experience in project management

– Experience implementing and operating systems based on security-by-design

– Japanese: JLPT N1 level or equivalent

– English: Business level / equivalent to CEFR C1 (Reference TOEIC score of 945 or above)

└ Ability to participate in discussions at meetings using English (e.g. meetings with US group companies, etc.)

Preferred

– Experience in development and operation of web application software

– Knowledge and operational experience in SaaS management

– Knowledge and operational experience in office network design

– Experience in designing system architecture based on the idea of Zero Trust Architecture

– Deep understanding of business process review and automation tools

– Knowledge of IT service management frameworks (ITIL, etc.)

– Knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.)
