About Our Client
Our client is an established Managed Security Services Provider (MSSP) delivering advanced cybersecurity solutions across Nigeria and other African markets. Their Nigeria operation serves a diverse client base spanning government, financial institutions, and enterprise organisations. They are seeking a commercially-minded Account Manager to drive growth and deepen client relationships in the region.
The Role
This Account Manager will oversee client relationships across Nigeria, with a primary focus on revenue growth and customer satisfaction. You will manage existing accounts, identify and convert new business opportunities, and represent the organisation as a trusted advisor on cybersecurity solutions.
This role reports to Management.
Key Responsibilities

Serve as the primary relationship owner for assigned clients across Nigeria

Diagnose client security requirements and propose tailored cybersecurity solutions

Drive revenue through new client acquisition, opportunity identification, and consultative upselling

Represent the organisation at industry events and maintain a current understanding of local cybersecurity trends and regulatory developments

Partner with internal teams to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery
Candidate Profile

3–5 years of experience in account management, business development, or sales within IT, telecommunications, or cybersecurity
-
Solid understanding of cybersecurity services and the Nigerian enterprise market
-
Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets
-
Proactive, ethical, adaptable, and a strong communicator capable of managing complex client relationships
Requirements
Education
-
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field

Professional certifications in sales, account management, or cybersecurity are an advantage (e.g., ITIL, CompTIA Security+, Certified Sales Professional, CISSP)
Experience
-
3–5 years of progressive experience in account management, business development, or B2B sales

Experience within the IT, telecommunications, or cybersecurity industry is preferred

Demonstrated track record of managing client portfolios and achieving or exceeding revenue targets

Experience selling to government institutions, financial services organisations, or enterprise clients is a strong advantage

Familiarity with the Nigerian regulatory environment and business landscape

Experience navigating complex, multi-stakeholder client relationships
Technical Skills

Working knowledge of cybersecurity services and solutions (managed security, threat detection, incident response, compliance, vulnerability assessment)

Proficiency with CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho CRM, or equivalent)

Competence in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and Google Workspace

Ability to prepare and deliver high-quality client presentations, proposals, and reports

Understanding of Nigeria's cybersecurity regulatory framework (NDPR, Cybercrimes Act) is an advantage

Benefits
Compensation
-
Gross monthly salary: NGN 1,069,303.30
-
Net monthly salary: NGN 800,000.00
-
Commission: 1.5% on total deal value
