Your New Role

As the AI Security & Governance Engineer, you will be the primary authority on "Responsible AI" for the organization. This is not a development role; rather, you are the technical gatekeeper and governance authority. You will report to the Head of Digital & AI and act as the key interface with global solution partners (such as IBM) to ensure all AI deployments meet stringent safety standards.

  • Governance Framework Implementation: Translate high-level AI policies into enforceable technical guardrails and automated checks across the organization.
  • Microsoft Stack Mastery: Use Microsoft Purview, Entra, Defender, and Azure Policy to implement "safe-by-default" operations and data sensitivity labels.
  • AI Risk & Red-Teaming: Conduct threat modeling specifically for LLMs, including jailbreak testing, prompt injection defense, and content safety filtering.
  • Post-Deployment Assurance: Monitor AI solutions for drift and abuse, ensuring every release meets the organization’s "Governance Stage Gates" (from pre-development to post-deployment).
  • Vendor & Audit Oversight: Define and enforce transparency and data-usage boundaries for external vendors, while ensuring the organization maintains a "zero critical audit finding" status.

What You'll Need to Succeed

We are looking for a senior-level security professional who understands that AI requires a new paradigm of data protection.

  • Experience: 8–10 years in cloud security and governance, with a specific focus on the Microsoft security stack and exposure to AI systems.
  • Mandatory Certifications: Due to the specialized nature of this role, the following are required:
  • IAPP AIGP (Artificial Intelligence Governance Professional)
  • Microsoft SC-100 (Cybersecurity Architect Expert)
  • Microsoft SC-400 (Information Protection Administrator)
  • Technical Proficiency: Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft Purview (DLP, Catalog, Audit), Entra ID (PIM, Conditional Access), and KQL for investigations.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with AI/LLM threat modeling and "Policy-as-code" (Azure Policy).
  • Communication: The ability to act as a "Governance Authority," effectively interfacing with external architects and internal Legal/Compliance teams.
