Mobile Vulnerability Researcher

This role offers the opportunity to work remotely, with no requirement for relocation, allowing you to contribute from anywhere in the world.

Key Responsibilities

As a Mobile Vulnerability Researcher, you will:

  • Identify and exploit vulnerabilities in mobile devices.
  • Conduct attack vector enumeration, as well as static and dynamic target analysis.
  • Perform reverse engineering, debugging, vulnerability identification, and exploitation.
  • Prepare comprehensive technical documentation.

Required

Skills and Qualifications

We welcome candidates with relevant experience, regardless of formal education or certifications. Qualified applicants should have:

  • Proficiency in C/C++ and assembly languages for ARM and Intel (Hexagon and MIPS also considered).
  • Proven experience in discovering and exploiting 0-day vulnerabilities on mobile platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of modern memory corruption mitigations.
  • Competence with debugging tools and IDA Pro.

Preferred Qualifications

The following qualifications will give candidates an advantage:

  • Capability to develop SoC exploits without relying on debuggers and minimal runtime information.
  • In-depth knowledge of mobile device attack surfaces, including CP, AP, and other critical areas.
  • Broad understanding of various vulnerability classes.
  • Track record of published research or references for production-grade exploit development.
