We are hiring a detail-oriented Application Security Monitoring & Analysis Analyst responsible for monitoring client-hosted applications, detecting security threats, analyzing incidents, and responding to alerts in real time. The ideal candidate will ensure application security, uptime, and proactive threat prevention.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor client-hosted applications for security threats and anomalies
- Analyze logs, alerts, and system activity to detect suspicious behavior
- Respond to security incidents and provide timely alerts to relevant teams
- Maintain continuous monitoring of application performance and security health
- Investigate security issues and perform root cause analysis
- Set up and manage security alerting and monitoring systems
- Coordinate with development and DevOps teams for issue resolution
- Maintain incident reports and security documentation
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 1+ year experience in application security, SOC, or IT monitoring
- Knowledge of web application security basics (OWASP Top 10 preferred)
- Experience with monitoring/log tools (CloudWatch, ELK Stack, Datadog, etc.)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to respond quickly to incidents and alerts
- Basic understanding of cloud environments (AWS preferred)
- Good communication skills in English
- Ability to work in a high-responsibility, alert-driven environment
Preferred Skills
- Cybersecurity certifications (CompTIA Security+, CEH, etc.)
- Experience with SIEM tools
- Familiarity with incident response workflows
- Knowledge of scripting (Python/Bash)
