Position: Artillery Gunner with Canadian Forces
Serve as a Gunner in the Canadian Armed Forces, focusing on equipment operation and battlefield strategies. This role requires physical endurance and sharp technical skills.
Gunners are responsible for operating and maintaining artillery systems, including howitzers and uncrewed aerial systems, while collaborating with the Infantry and Armoured Corps. Successful candidates can be stationed at five different regiments while serving in various terrains, participating in both domestic and overseas missions as part of the Regular or Primary Reserve Forces.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate 105mm and 155mm howitzers confidently
• Employ surveillance systems and acoustic technologies
• Drive and maintain tactical military vehicles
• Use technical equipment for fire control and range-finding
• Collaborate with other combat arms on handling operations
Requirements:
• Completion of Grade 10 education or equivalent
• No prior military experience is required
• Availability for training and possible relocation
• Physical fitness to meet military standards
• Willing to learn artillery and combat operations
