We Are Looking For
As the Assistant Security Manager, you will be responsible for the overall security operations of one data center building. This includes overseeing daily site security, managing the outsourced security team, handling incidents and investigations, and ensuring the building remains secure, compliant, and operationally ready.
You should have solid security operations experience, confidence in handling incidents, and the ability to manage vendors, drive follow-through, and work well with different teams across the site.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead the security operations for one data center building, including access control, monitoring, incident response, investigations, and reporting
- Manage the outsourced security team to ensure proper staffing, deployment, discipline, and service standards
- Oversee security compliance, audits, drills, investigations, and readiness activities for the site
- Review incidents, trends, and security gaps, and follow up on actions needed to improve site security
- Drive process improvements and maintain operational readiness across the Security Control Room and site operations
- Act as the escalation point for major security incidents and support timely resolution and communication
- Work closely with Operations, EHS, Projects, and Customers on security-related matters
- Prepare and review incident reports, audit findings, and security updates, and ensure follow-up actions are closed properly
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma
- At least 5–8 years of experience in security operations, including experience leading teams and managing outsourced security services
- Good understanding of access control, CCTV, incident handling, investigations, emergency response, and site security operations
- Experience in security compliance, audits, drills, and vendor performance management will be preferred
- Experience in law enforcement, military, data center, industrial site, or contract security operations will be an advantage
