Job Description

Job Summary

This position is responsible for overseeing, managing, and maintaining all security system infrastructure across UOB’s three headquarters buildings. This role ensures that all security technologies operate efficiently, securely, and in alignment with the bank’s safety and compliance standards. The position also involves vendor management, preventive maintenance planning, and coordination with internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Security System Management

  • Manage and control all electronic security systems, including but not limited to:

    • CCTV (Closed-Circuit Television) systems

    • Turnstile access control systems

    • Facial recognition and biometric access systems

    • Alarm systems and related security technologies

  • Ensure all systems function effectively and meet operational and security requirements

  • Monitor system performance and implement improvements where necessary

    • 2. Operations and Maintenance

    • Plan and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs for all security equipment

    • Track and follow up on system issues, incidents, and repair activities until completion

    • Ensure minimal downtime and maintain high system availability

    3. Vendor and Contractor Management

    • Coordinate and supervise external vendors, contractors, and service providers

    • Ensure all work performed meets agreed service levels, timelines, and quality standards

    • Review contracts, service agreements, and maintenance plans for security systems

    4. Project Coordination and Implementation

    • Support the implementation of new security systems or upgrades across the three buildings

    • Work closely with internal teams and vendors to ensure smooth project delivery

    • Ensure compliance with corporate security policies and regulatory requirements

    5. Reporting and Documentation

    • Maintain accurate documentation of all security systems, configurations, and maintenance records

    • Prepare regular reports on system performance, incidents, and improvement plans

    • Analyze trends and recommend enhancements to improve overall security effectiveness

    6. IT and Technical Support

    • Apply basic IT knowledge to support system integration, network connectivity, and troubleshooting

    • Coordinate with IT teams to ensure secure and stable system operations

    • Understand system architecture, databases, and security software configurations

    Qualifications & Skills

    • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Information Technology, Security Management, or a related field

    • Proven experience in managing electronic security systems (CCTV, access control, biometrics, etc.)

    • Strong understanding of security system operations and maintenance practices

    • Basic knowledge of IT systems, networking, and system integration

    • Experience in vendor and contractor management

    • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and coordination skills

    • Good communication skills in English and Thai
