The Opportunity
Our client, an innovative and rapidly scaling financial technology company, is seeking a strategic and forward-thinking Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to lead and evolve its global cybersecurity function.
This executive leadership role sits at the intersection of regulatory compliance, emerging technologies, and enterprise risk management. As the organization expands its next-generation financial infrastructure, including AI-enabled products and digital asset settlement capabilities, the CISO will be responsible for building a modern security program that enables innovation while
Required Qualifications
- 12+ years of progressive information security experience, including senior leadership responsibilities.
- Proven experience operating within highly regulated financial services, fintech, payments, banking, capital markets, or public company environments.
- Deep understanding of cybersecurity governance, risk management, regulatory compliance, and enterprise security architecture.
- Experience leading security programs within cloud-native environments, particularly AWS and/or GCP.
- Strong track record partnering with executive leadership teams and Boards of Directors.
- Relevant security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCISO, CISA, or equivalent executive-level credentials.
Preferred Experience
- Experience supporting digital asset, cryptocurrency, blockchain, stablecoin, or modern payment infrastructure environments.
- Familiarity with AI governance, machine learning security, and emerging technology risk frameworks.
- Advanced degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience leading security functions during periods of rapid organizational growth and transformation.
