Job Description
You will be the Information Systems Security Officer for the Lockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control Team, responsible for securing lifesaving products and critical state-of-the-art engineering and manufacturing systems by applying cutting-edge cybersecurity principles.
What You Will Be Doing
As the ISSO, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day information system security operations, ensuring compliance with internal and customer security requirements, and maintaining the security and integrity of our systems.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Oversee day-to-day information system security operations
- Carry out technical administration of IS in accordance with internal LM and customer security requirements
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to network and security events
- Document compliance actions and address non-compliance in the allotted time frame
- Ensure systems are operated, maintained, and disposed of in accordance with internal security policies and practices
- Participate in internal/external security audits/inspections and perform risk assessments
- Maintain records for workstations, software, servers, routers, firewalls, and other equipment throughout the information system's life cycle
- Evaluate proposed changes or additions to the information system and advise the ISSM of their security relevance
- Assist in conducting investigations of computer security violations and incidents

Desired Skills
- Prior experience as an ISSO
- Demonstrated technical experience for Windows, Networking, and/or UNIX-based operating systems
- Experience in system hardening, analysis, and vulnerability management
- Experience with the implementation of the Risk Management Framework (RMF)
- Experience with industry standard Information Assurance tools such as the STIG Viewer, SCC Tool, ESTIG, and Splunk
- EMASS package management/creation
- The ability to speak and present to stakeholders clearly and articulate technical information to a general audience
