As a Cloud Engineer – Cybersecurity, you will play a critical role in safeguarding large-scale HCS environments for international customers, leading investigations, fine-tuning detection capabilities platforms are strongly protected. es and driving remediation efforts to ensure threats are contained quickly and platforms are Strongly Protected.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
● Handle 24×7 security alerts in a shift-based model, including threat attacks, threat intelligence feeds, data security events, and service risk control alarms.
● Support intrusion warnings, emergency response, and War Room initiation.
● Perform routine inspections of security products, analyze fault alarms, and troubleshoot and rectify identified issues. configuration, data collection.
● Provide change support for security services, including instance provisioning, initial configuration, data collection and access, version and signature database upgrades, and configuration backups.
● Collect, process, and label security data, and adjust data input and output to align with detection models and security service requirements.
● Conduct routine vulnerability scanning, respond to external threat intelligence, analyse threat reports, issue warnings, and perform follow-up tracking. incident handling activities.
● Produce routine statistical and operational reports for security monitoring and incident handling activities.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
● PREFERRED SKILLS on and access, version and signature database
● Minimum 2 years of experience in the cybersecurity industry with at least 1 year in security operations.
● Solid understanding of security device operations and maintenance, system baseline configuration checks, and security policy management.
● Strong log analysis skills, with hands-on experience using ELK or Splunk, and practical knowledge of KQL, EQL, or similar correlation query languages.
● Good understanding of OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities, detection techniques, and basic exploitation concepts.
● Experience with Huawei Cloud security services for vulnerability scanning, configuration checks, device maintenance, version upgrades, and alarm handling will be a strong advantage.
● Proven experience in security operations documentation and reporting
