Responsibilities
Under the general supervision of a Sergeant, Corporal, or designated Corrections Officer, responsible for providing care, custody, and control over sentenced and pre-sentenced inmates at the facility.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
- Must meet physical fitness requirements on a yearly basis
- Must meet all physical and mental requirements as required by the New Hampshire Retirement System
- Must submit to a thorough background investigation and criminal record check
- Must successfully pass the physical fitness test
- May appear before an Interview Board and may be required to pass a written test
