Job Objectives
The role is responsible for designing, securing, and supporting network and cybersecurity architecture across our client's projects. It focuses on protecting systems and data through risk management, access control, incident response, security assessments, and the use of secure technologies across cloud and on‑premise environments. The position requires independence, accountability, adaptability, and strong decision‑making skills, with flexibility for onsite travel, extended work hours, and meeting critical project deadlines while maintaining effective communication.
Responsibilities
• Identify and analyze security and network issues across workstations, servers, and cloud
environments
• Provides support to all teams or groups connecting to the network infrastructure.
• Configure and maintain network and security for on-premises or cloud-based setups.
• Assist clients in conducting technical and functional testing to ensure stability.
• Administer and manage network and security systems on both Windows and Linux
platforms.
• Support clients with maintenance activities, both onsite and remotely.
• Investigate and resolve network, information security and cyber security related problems
• Investigate security breaches and implement solutions to resolve them.
• Coordinate and manage internal teams or subcontractors to ensure project completion.
• Provide ongoing support for operations, including administration and monitoring tasks.
• Assist in installing patches for security
• Assist in upgrading versions of security applications as required.
• Assist with creating incident management tickets and provide necessary documentation
• The resource to ensure cyber security compliance with regulatory requirements and
industry standards.
• Prepares Cybersecurity system design either from greenfield or from existing design.
• Lead cybersecurity system design, prepare necessary documentation and respond to
customer clarifications.
• Coordinate with design interface parties and other project stakeholders for the
completion and approval of design.
• Prepare necessary testing plans and procedures, configuration, and other documentation
as required by the project.
• Implement cybersecurity system based on approved design.
• Support the project manager and the lead and coordinate project execution for
Cybersecurity systems, including managing subcontractors and other project team
members.
• Acquire acceptance from customer
• Prepare necessary as-built, installation, testing reports, final configuration file for
customer reference.
• Conduct knowledge transfer as necessary including preparation of necessary materials.
Experience
• The resource possesses at least 5 years of practical experience on any 2 security fields
such as security and risk management, security architecture and engineering, Identity and
access management (IAM) or security operations
• The resource possesses at least 2 years’ experience in managing and securing data in a
cyber security platform.
• Having a Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP) certification is
considered a plus
• The resource should possess developing security policies, managing risks, responding to
incidents, designing secure systems, controlling user access, and establishing security
governance frameworks.
• Has at least one year experience in network management and network infrastructure
security.
• Knowledge of Linux and Windows administration, configuration and version patching are
a plus
• Has at least 1 year experience using MS word, MS PowerPoint and MS excel.
• Has at least 2 years’ experience in implementing and supporting network and security
deployment.
• Has knowledge in VAPT testing
• Has knowledge in configuring and maintaining CISCO and Juniper platforms
• Has good communication and written skills
