We're working with a high-profile Melbourne-based organisation to find a talented Cybersecurity Engineer ready to make a real impact.

You'll get heavily involved across a broad range of security domains, from security operations to identity & access management, governance risk and compliance, vulnerability management, and cloud security. Key Responsibilities:
• Operating and maintaining a modern security stack, including SIEM, EDR, and Secure Service Edge (SSE) technologies to protect critical infrastructure environments.
• Triaging, investigating, and responding to security incidents whilst continuously tuning detection rules to improve the organisation's threat detection capabilities.
• Supporting threat hunting activities and contributing to the ongoing identification and remediation of vulnerabilities across the environment.
• Managing and maintaining identity and access management processes, ensuring appropriate controls are in place across cloud and on-premises platforms.
• Contributing to compliance and risk initiatives aligned to frameworks such as the Essential Eight and NIST CSF, helping to uplift the organisation's overall security posture.
• Collaborating closely as a key member of a small, high-performing team across a variety of security projects spanning multiple domains.
