New Value Solutions, a national IT consulting company, is seeking a Governance Specialist (IAM / PAM) to support the development and enforcement of identity and access governance frameworks across enterprise environments. This role will focus on ensuring that Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Privileged Access Management (PAM) processes are secure, compliant, and aligned with organizational policies and regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will work closely with IAM, PAM, security, and audit teams to define controls, oversee access governance processes, and support ongoing compliance initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Define, implement, and maintain governance frameworks for IAM and PAM solutions.
- Oversee and manage access certification and review processes across enterprise systems.
- Ensure adherence to identity lifecycle processes (joiner, mover, leaver) and access control policies.
- Develop and enforce policies related to privileged access, least privilege, and segregation of duties.
- Collaborate with IAM and PAM engineering teams to ensure solutions align with governance and compliance requirements.
- Support audit activities by providing evidence, documentation, and remediation tracking.
- Monitor and report on access risks, policy violations, and compliance metrics.
- Participate in the design and improvement of governance processes and controls.
- Work with stakeholders to define and maintain role-based access models and entitlements.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) practices.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in IAM/PAM governance, identity governance (IGA), or GRC-related roles.
- Strong understanding of Identity and Access Management and Privileged Access Management concepts.
- Experience with access reviews, certifications, and audit/compliance processes.
- Experience working with IAM/PAM tools such as SailPoint, CyberArk, or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of identity lifecycle (JML) processes and access control frameworks.
- Familiarity with security and compliance frameworks (e.g., SOX, ISO, NIST).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with technical and business stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
