Role Overview
This is a senior, hands-on cybersecurity leader responsible for owning global security systems, controls, and risk management across a multi-country environment. The manager will lead strategy and execution—identifying vulnerabilities, driving root-cause analysis, and ensuring issues are fully resolved (not band-aided). Heavy focus on international operations, cross‑border data, and regulatory alignment.
Must-Have Requirements
- Direct international cybersecurity experience
- Has secured systems across multiple countries/regions
- Experience navigating country-specific regulations and cross-border risk
- Strong cybersecurity foundations & frameworks
- Hands-on experience applying ISO 27001, NIST, or similar global frameworks
- Risk & remediation ownership
- Proven ability to identify vulnerabilities, lead root-cause analysis, and own remediation end-to-end
- Infrastructure security expertiseDeep understanding of:
- LAN / WAN
- SD-WAN, MPLS
- VPNs, firewalls
- Cloud + on-prem environments
- 8+ years progressive IT / security leadershipCybersecurity, infrastructure, or enterprise IT management
- Global operations mindsetExperience supporting international manufacturing, distribution, or multi-site enterprises
Strongly Preferred
- Cybersecurity certifications CISSP, CISA, GIAC, or actively working toward one
- Supplier / third-party risk managementBuilt or ran vendor cybersecurity assessment programs
- Audit leadershipLed responses to regulatory, customer, or third-party security audits
- DR & Business ContinuityGlobal disaster recovery planning, testing, and readiness
- ITIL & structured deliveryUses frameworks but applies them pragmatically in real-world environments
