A leading enterprise organization is looking for a hands-on Cyber Security Specialist to join its cybersecurity team.
This role focuses on the implementation, operation, and maintenance of security technologies across complex IT, OT, and DMZ environments. The position involves close collaboration with Infrastructure, Network, and Development teams, ensuring security policies are effectively implemented and maintained across the organization.
Responsibilities:
Implement, configure, and maintain cybersecurity solutions, including Firewalls, EDR/XDR, NAC, WAF, DLP, and Email Security platforms
Perform system hardening for servers, operating systems, and network infrastructure components
Enforce security policies at the infrastructure level, including firewall rule management, network segmentation, and access control
Collaborate with System, Network, and DevOps teams to implement security solutions and best practices
Deploy and integrate new security technologies and platforms
Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related security issues
Develop and maintain security procedures, hardening guidelines, and operational runbooks
Work closely with vendors and external integrators to support security initiatives
Requirements:
3–5 years of experience implementing and operating cybersecurity solutions
Hands-on experience with security technologies such as Firewalls, EDR/XDR, NAC, WAF, DLP, and Email Security solutions
Experience working with Firewall platforms such as Check Point, Palo Alto, or Fortinet
Strong administration experience with Windows and Linux environments
Experience working with Active Directory and Group Policy (GPO)
Solid understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, VLANs, Routing, and NAT
Experience performing system and infrastructure hardening
Advantages
Experience with SIEM platforms, Sandbox solutions, Content Disarm & Reconstruction (CDR), and security event monitoring
Scripting experience with PowerShell and/or Python
Relevant cybersecurity and networking certifications
