Location: Canberra or Melbourne
Security clearance: Australian citizenship, and an NV1 clearance minimum
Role overview:
We are supporting a Defence MSP with undertaking the certification, assessment and authorisation of defence systems, and the development of security artefacts in line with the CSAAF Authority to Operate framework.
The role requires a strong understanding with defence security frameworks, and previous experience in conducting security assessments, and the creation of security documentation such Security Assessment Reports, ATO briefs, and risk statements, as remediation plans.
We are ideally looking for a permanent employee for this role, with an attractive salary package on offer.
This role will be responsible for:
- Performing risk assessments using Operational Effectiveness Reviews
- Auditing the effectiveness of system security controls
- Identifying, analysing and evaluating cyber security risks, vulnerabilities and compliance with mandatory cyber security requirements
- Developing and delivering security assessment artefacts including Security Assessment Reports, ATO briefs, risk statements and remediation actions
To be successful, you will have:
- Australian citizenship and a current security clearance
- Demonstrated experience in delivering Defence Cyber Security Assessment and Authorisation (CSAA) services
- Experience in radio and satellite communication systems
- Strong working knowledge of Australian cybersecurity frameworks and policies, including ASD ISM , PSPF, Essential 8 Maturity Model, NIST SP 800, CSAAF
- Industry certifications preferred, such as CISSP, CRISC, CISM or ISO27001 Lead Auditor
