Requirements:

• Proven cybersecurity experience in complex, multi-stakeholder IT environments.
• Extensive experience in stakeholder engagement, liaising with technical teams, national delegations, and external contractors.
• Demonstrated expertise in cybersecurity frameworks and standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, or CIS Controls.
• Experience in developing security governance elements, policies, procedures, and strategic guidance materials.
• Ability to translate technical security findings and risk assessments into policy-friendly language for senior management.
• Experience in vulnerability management, incident response, and security auditing across enterprise environments.
• Must hold a valid NATO SECRET security clearance.
• (Desirable) Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CEH, or equivalent GIAC certifications.

Job description:

• Monitor, analyse, and respond to cybersecurity threats and incidents across organisational networks and systems, escalating issues to senior leadership as required.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits in line with NATO and applicable national standards.
• Support the design, implementation, and maintenance of security controls across IT and OT environments, ensuring alignment with institutional security directives.
• Develop and review security policies, procedures, and guidelines, contributing to governance frameworks and long-term security roadmaps.
• Perform risk assessments and support the accreditation of systems in accordance with the NATO Risk Management Framework or equivalent methodology.
• Produce briefing notes, technical reports, and presentations to communicate security posture, findings, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Facilitate coordination with internal teams, national delegations, and third-party service partners to align security requirements with operational and contractual obligations.
• Contribute to security awareness initiatives, including the development of guidance materials and the organisation of briefings for staff across multiple stakeholder groups.
• Identify capability gaps and develop proposals for security architecture evolution, including sustainability planning and tooling roadmap documentation.
• Conduct after-action reviews and lessons-learned exercises following incidents or audits, translating findings into concrete recommendations to strengthen the organisation's security posture.
• Support data protection and compliance workflows, including coordination of bilateral stakeholder engagements and management of structured security review processes.
