As part of this expansion, we are seeking qualified and passionate professionals to fill the following open positions:

Job Title: Cyber Security TechnicianJob Summary:

The Cyber Security Technician is responsible for supporting the organization’s cybersecurity operations by monitoring security systems, assisting with incident response activities, maintaining security tools, and helping protect the organization’s networks, systems, and data from cyber threats.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Monitor and review security alerts and events.
2. Support the administration and operation of security solutions such as: , Antivirus / EDR ,Firewalls , Email Security Systems
3. Assist in managing user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
4. Perform system updates and support patch management activities.
5. Support the implementation of cybersecurity policies and procedures.
6. Investigate suspicious activities and escalate security incidents when necessary.
7. Assist with basic incident response and security investigations.
8. Review and analyze phishing reports and suspicious emails.
9. Maintain security logs and prepare basic security reports.
10. Provide basic cybersecurity awareness and support to end users.
11. Support vulnerability scanning and remediation activities.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in:

• a. Cybersecurity
• b. Information Technology
• c. Computer Science
• d. Or a related field.

Required Skills:

• Basic understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
• Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals and common threats.
• Familiarity with security monitoring and protection tools.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Knowledge:

• Active Directory
• Microsoft 365 Security
• SIEM platforms
• VPN technologies
• Vulnerability Management
• Basic scripting knowledge (PowerShell or Python)

Preferred Certifications:

• CompTIA Security+
• ISC2 Certified in Cybersecurity (CC)
• Microsoft SC-900

Experience Level:

• Entry-Level to Mid-Level depending on qualifications and experience.
