About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cybersecurity Analyst to join our dynamic team at CrowdStrike. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security incidents to safeguard our clients' digital assets. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify vulnerabilities, implement security measures, and enhance our threat detection capabilities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, incident response procedures, and the latest threat landscapes. Qualifications
To be successful in this role, candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant professional certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or GIAC are highly desirable. Candidates must demonstrate at least 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity, including incident response, threat analysis, and security operations. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure are essential. Familiarity with security tools such as SIEM, EDR, firewalls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems is required. Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate complex technical issues into understandable language are also important.
Responsibilities
The primary responsibilities include continuous monitoring of security alerts and logs to identify potential threats, investigating and analyzing security incidents to determine their scope and impact, and coordinating appropriate response actions to mitigate risks. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining incident response plans, conducting forensic analysis, and documenting findings for future reference. Collaborating with IT teams to implement security controls and best practices is vital. Additionally, you will stay updated on emerging threats and vulnerabilities, providing recommendations to enhance security posture. Conducting security awareness training and participating in simulated attack exercises will also be part of your duties. Your role will be instrumental in ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements related to cybersecurity.
