You will play a key role in safeguarding the organization’s digital assets, identifying vulnerabilities, and ensuring compliance with security standards.
🎯 Key Responsibilities
- Monitor systems and networks for security breaches and suspicious activities.
- Identify vulnerabilities and conduct risk assessments to strengthen security posture.
- Implement and maintain security measures such as firewalls, encryption, and access controls.
- Respond to security incidents, investigate breaches, and recommend corrective actions.
- Conduct regular security audits, penetration testing, and system assessments.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to ensure secure system design and implementation.
- Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Provide training and awareness programs on cybersecurity for employees.
- Maintain documentation of security incidents, procedures, and system configurations.
- Stay updated on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and cybersecurity trends.
✅ Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Experience in cybersecurity, IT security, or related roles is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of network security, system security, and threat management.
- Familiarity with security tools (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS, antivirus, endpoint protection).
- Knowledge of security frameworks and standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST) is a plus.
- Basic understanding of scripting or programming (e.g., Python, PowerShell) is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to respond under pressure.
- Good communication skills to explain security concepts to non-technical users.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP – for mid-level) are a plus.
