We are looking for a Cybersecurity Specialist / Administrator for a key client based in Warsaw, Poland.

Typical tasks and responsibilities (non-exhaustive list):

  • Design, implement and maintain cybersecurity solutions and infrastructure
  • Configure, monitor and optimize security systems, controls and tools
  • Manage security patches, upgrades and vulnerability remediation
  • Investigate, troubleshoot and resolve cybersecurity incidents and system issues
  • Collaborate with IT teams to implement secure solutions and meet security requirements
  • Produce technical documentation, operational procedures and security reports
  • Support security audits, compliance activities and continuous service improvement

Requirements (ALL MANDATORY)

Education & Certifications:

  • Minimum education: bachelor’s degree or 3 years of higher education
  • English B2-level certification (or willingness to obtain one shortly)

Professional experience

  • Minimum IT relevant professional experience of 8 years
  • Minimum experience relevant to the profile or at similar position of 5 years

Required certificates:

At least 3 certifications among:

  • GCED (GIAC Certified Enterprise Defender)
  • GPPA (GIAC Certified Perimeter Protection Analyst)
  • GCWN (GIAC Certified Windows Security Administrator)
  • GCUX (GIAC Certified UNIX Security Administrator)
  • GCCC (GIAC Certified Critical Controls)
  • SSCP ((ISC)2 Certified Systems Security Practitioner)
  • CCSP (ISC2 Certified Cloud Security Professional)
  • CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)
  • CSSLP (ISC2 Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional)
  • GSEC (GIAC Certified Security Essentials)
  • ECSA (EC-Council Certified Security Analyst)
  • SCPO (SABSA Certified Security Operations & Service Management Practitioner)
  • ECSA (EC-Council Certified Security Analyst)

OR for any listed above, an equivalent alternative certification, recognized internationally, could be accepted.

Knowledge and skills:

  1. Knowledge of systems development life cycle
  2. Knowledge of operating systems security
  3. Knowledge of computer networks security
  4. Knowledge of security controls
  5. Knowledge of offensive and defensive security practices
  6. Knowledge of secure coding practices
  7. Possesses hands on experience in ICT in the role of Information Security Administrator / Specialist
  8. Knowledge of system security vulnerabilities, threats and exploit mechanisms, penetration testing, remediation techniques and risk analysis methodologies
  9. Knowledge of ISO 27000 family standards and SANS CIS critical security controls
  10. Knowledge of OWASP family standards
  11. Good knowledge of network protocols: SMTP, NTP, DNS, LDAP, DHCP, PKI/CA
  12. Practical knowledge of designing and performing security tests
  13. Practical knowledge of managing security functions within the Identity and Access Management solutions
  14. Assess the security and performance of solutions
  15. Develop and test secure code and/or scripts

Specific requirements:

  • Experience in systems deployment and integrations
  • Knowledge of Tiering model
  • Experience in maintenance, support and administration of systems
  • Experience in IR tools (XDR, SIEM, NDR)
  • Proficient in writing PoC/TDD documentation
  • Experience in reviewing current security controls and proposing improvements
  • Experience in writing security procedures/policies with emphasise on information protection and data privacy

Additional information:

  • RESTREINT UE/EU RESTRICTED Security Clearance is required (Mandatory)

  • Warsaw, Poland
  • Hybrid: 40% on-site in Warsaw, 60% in proximity (max. 2h by car from Warsaw)
