The Role
- Governance: Oversee the implementation of our privacy management system across all business units.
- Risk Management: Conduct Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) for new processes and technologies.
- Incident Response: Lead the investigation and remediation of any data-related incidents or breaches.
- Advisory: Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory bodies and internal stakeholders on GDPR, CCPA, and local privacy laws.
The Requirements
- Experience: 4–5 years of dedicated experience as a Data Privacy Officer specifically within the BPO/BPM sector.
- Certification I: DPO Certified (CIPP/E, CIPM, or equivalent).
- Certification II: ISO Certified (specifically ISO/IEC 27001 or 27701 Lead Auditor/Implementer).
- Expertise: Deep understanding of multi-jurisdictional data protection laws and their practical application in outsourced environments.
