Job Description
Your mission:
As a Health and Safety Director, you lead and oversee the organization’s health, safety, and security strategy to ensure a safe and compliant working environment across all operations. You are responsible for developing policies, driving a strong safety culture, and ensuring compliance with local and international regulations. Working closely with operational teams, you assess risks, implement preventive measures, and continuously improve safety while protecting employees, assets, and the environment.
Description Of Activities
- Analysis and preparation of safety strategy: Define and deploy health, safety, and security policies, assess risks across all activities, ensure regulatory compliance, and establish action plans aligned with company objectives.
- Implementation and monitoring: Roll out safety programs, procedures, and training, monitor KPIs, conduct audits and inspections, and ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented effectively.
- Risk management and prevention: Identify hazards, lead risk assessments, implement mitigation measures, manage incident investigations, and promote a proactive safety culture
- Crisis and emergency management: Develop and maintain emergency response plans, coordinate crisis management activities, and ensure business continuity in case of incidents
- Continuous improvement and compliance: Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards, lead certification processes (ISO, etc.), and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Team leadership and coordination: Manage and mentor HSE teams, collaborate with senior management and operational departments, and ensure alignment across all levels of the organization.

- Define and implement the organization’s health, safety, and security strategy in alignment with corporate objectives
- Make strategic decisions regarding risk management, compliance, and safety initiatives
- Identify critical risks and ensure appropriate mitigation measures are in place
- Ensure the effectiveness and continuous improvement of HSE systems and processes
- Guarantee compliance with all applicable regulations and standards
- Promote a strong safety culture across the organization and ensure employees
- Engagement
- Advise senior leadership on safety-related matters and support decision making
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory authorities, to ensure compliance and operational excellence
