Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Pacific Philadelphia Cyber Engineering & Integration Division currently has openings for Risk Management Framework (RMF) Information Systems Security Officers/Managers (ISSO/ISSM). Position is full-time Federal Government (US Navy Civilian) as a member of our Cyber Assessment & Authorization team and is located in Philadelphia, PA. Candidates must reside within 80 miles of Philadelphia, PA or willing to relocate upon job start. Full-Time telework is not available. Relocation assistance is not available.
Candidate must be a US Citizen and eligible for a DoD security clearance.
Candidates will be working out of the Naval Supply Activity located in Philadelphia, PA (700 Robbins Ave, 19111). Candidates will work with the Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) web based tool for Risk Management Framework. Candidate must posses or be willing to obtain a certification that meets DoD IA Workforce requirements such as CompTIA Security + or CISSP.
Candidates will be responsible for:
- Conducting risk and vulnerability assessment at the network, system and application level
- Developing and implementing security controls in accordance with NIST SP 800-53 and CNSSI 1253 guidance and formulating operational risk mitigations, as well as coordinating security awareness programs
- Researching, evaluating, and recommending new security tools, techniques, and technologies and introduce them to the enterprise in alignment with IT security strategy
- Performing audits and risk assessments of IT systems, preparing security reports to regulatory agencies, and manage projects for DoD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP) and Risk Management Framework (RMF) packages
Candidates will also get hands on experience with:
- Defense information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)/Security Requirement Guides (SRG)
- Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS)/Tenable Nessus
Salary is determined by previous salary history, experience, education, and certifications. Candidate will be required to provide proof of previous salary as part of the hiring process. Salary range is $65,000 – $158,000.
