Purpose of the Role

Manage and administer Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR), Threat Intelligence Platform (TIP), and Vulnerability Management (VM) solutions to strengthen the organization’s cybersecurity posture. The role is responsible for monitoring endpoint threats, maintaining threat intelligence integrations, managing vulnerability scanning operations, and ensuring proactive security operations across enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and manage EDR, TIP, and Vulnerability Management platforms across the enterprise environment.
  • Monitor, analyze, and respond to endpoint security alerts and incidents.
  • Configure, maintain, and optimize EDR policies, detection rules, and response workflows.
  • Manage and maintain Threat Intelligence feeds, integrations, and indicators of compromise (IOCs).
  • Administer vulnerability scanning schedules, scan policies, and remediation tracking activities.
  • Perform security incident investigations related to endpoint threats and malware activities.
  • Ensure continuous health monitoring and performance tuning of security platforms.
  • Collaborate with SOC, Incident Response, and Infrastructure teams for threat remediation and risk mitigation.
  • Generate operational and security reports related to vulnerabilities, endpoint threats, and threat intelligence.
  • Support audit, compliance, and security assessment activities.
  • Maintain documentation, SOPs, and operational runbooks for security tools and processes.

  • Vulnerability Assessment & Remediation
  • IOC Management
  • Malware Analysis concepts
  • Experience with EDR solutions such as:
  • CrowdStrike
  • Microsoft Defender for Endpoint
  • SentinelOne
  • Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and security best practices.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Relevant cybersecurity certifications preferred:
  • CEH
  • CompTIA Security+
  • SC-200
  • SANS/GIAC certifications
  • Tenable certifications

Experience

  • Minimum 7 years of overall cybersecurity experience.
  • Minimum 4–5 years of hands-on administration experience in EDR / TIP / Vulnerability Management platforms.
  • Experience in enterprise or SOC environments preferred.
