KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES

This position will serve as an investigator for investigating and resolving employee complaint matters for our operations in North America. In this role, you will be expected to demonstrate competence in Baker Hughes HR policies and procedures.

  • Conduct and/or provide oversight on investigations of highly sensitive matters.
  • Document investigation findings, conclusions and remedial actions in the form of an investigation report.
  • Partner with HR Business Partners, Legal, Security and other ER Specialists to evaluate and address work environment and/or employee issues and concerns. Educate management and facilitate effective employee conflict resolution.
  • Collect and analyze employee relations related data and convey the information back to the business.
  • Provide guidance to HR Business Partners in employee complaints and investigations.
  • Drive investigative process improvements
  • Promote and support company policies, procedures, mission, values and standards of ethics and integrity.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 5 years’ experience in conducting investigations
  • 5 years’ experience in Human Resources, employment law or another related field

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven ability to write concise, factual and accurate investigation reports that reflect the findings of fact, conclusions, and appropriate remedial actions for each matter.
  • Strong understanding of US Labor and Employment Law s.
  • Strong ability to appropriately interpret company policies and assess where policy violations may have occurred
