IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:
- Support operations, maintenance, and assurance of International Voice (LDI) and IP Core infrastructure. The role includes monitoring international voice gateway systems as well as Datacom/IP network elements including firewalls, routers, and Data Center switching infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and service continuity.
HOW CAN YOU EXPRESS YOUR TALENT:
- Monitor and maintain International Voice / LDI network operations and traffic.
- Troubleshoot SIP, SS7, SIGTRAN, ISUP, and VoIP-related issues.
- Ensure international call routing, quality (ASR, ACD, PDD), and service availability.
- Handle call failures, one-way audio, DTMF, CLI, and signaling issues.
- Coordinate with international carriers, vendors, and internal teams for issue resolution.
- Support configuration changes, routing updates, maintenance, and upgrades.
- Prepare incident reports, RCA, and operational dashboards.
- Operate and maintain Datacom/IP infrastructure including: Firewall security platforms, Data Center Gateway Routers, Spine switches and TOR/EOR switches
- Ensure high availability and performance of IP core network.
- Monitor and troubleshoot IP connectivity, routing, and switching issues.
- Manage security policies, access control, and firewall rule implementation.
- Support network segmentation, VLANs, and inter-data-center connectivity.
- Coordinate with security and core IP teams for incident resolution.
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
Qualification
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Telecom, Electrical, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or relevant discipline.
- Experience: Telecom Core, LDI operations, or IP Datacom / Network Operations.
Technical Competency:
- Strong understanding of SIP, SS7, SIGTRAN, VoIP, and international voice systems.
- Good knowledge of IP networking (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, IPsec, VLANs, routing & switching).
- Hands-on understanding of firewalls, routers, and data centre switching architecture.
- Knowledge of SBC, MGW, Soft-switch, and IMS environments is a plus.
- Ability to analyze network traces and troubleshoot complex issues.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
