Job Description / Responsibility
Job Overview:
The Executive – IT will support the IT department by assisting with daily technical tasks, maintaining the organization’s IT infrastructure, and troubleshooting various hardware and software issues.
Responsibilities:
Technical Support:
- Provide basic technical support to end-users on hardware and software issues.
- Assist with troubleshooting network issues and finding solutions promptly.
- Manage and resolve help desk tickets in a timely manner.
System Maintenance:
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems, network devices, and software.
- Conduct routine checks and preventive maintenance on systems to ensure uptime.
- Monitor antivirus, firewall, and security systems to maintain IT security.
Network Administration:
- Support in managing network setups, including routers, switches, and wireless access points.
- Ensure network performance by conducting regular diagnostics and reporting any anomalies.
Inventory Management:
- Maintain and manage IT assets and inventory records, ensuring up-to-date and accurate documentation.
- Assist with hardware and software procurement based on organizational needs.
User Training and Documentation:
- Assist in training staff on IT policies, basic troubleshooting, and software usage.
- Document technical processes, common issues, and solutions for future reference.
Educational Requirements
- Diploma in Computer Science
- B.Sc. in Computer Science & Engineering
Experience Requirements
- 2 to 4 year(s)
Additional Requirements
- Basic knowledge of Windows/Linux operating systems, networking, and troubleshooting.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, good communication skills, and attention to detail.
- Certifications: Any relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA A+) are a plus.
