We're representing a scaling Singapore tech company that has reached the point where security can't be a side-of-desk job — but isn't yet ready for a full-time security executive.
They're looking for a Fractional CISO to own their security posture: the strategy, the risk framework, the compliance demands of customers and regulators, and the calm hand when something goes wrong. A few focused days a month, board-level judgment.
This is for the security leader who has carried the full weight before and would rather lend that judgment to several businesses that value it than sit inside one waiting for the breach. The work fits around your life — and the right companies seek you out.
WHAT YOU'D OWN
• Own the security strategy, risk posture and roadmap for a scaling business
• Build the policies, controls and incident response the company actually needs
• Be the credible security voice for customers, auditors, regulators and the board
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
• You've led security at CISO / Head of Security level, ideally in tech, fintech or regulated industries
• Strong on risk management, governance and security strategy — not just tooling
• Hands-on with compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2, MAS TRM and regional regs as relevant)
• You can stand up an incident-response capability and lead calmly when it's needed
• Credible with engineers and with the board — you translate risk into business language
• Comfortable working fractionally — high judgment, focused days, low overhead
• Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM or similar) a plus

Pay: Retainer-based, structured to reflect senior, high-stakes security judgment.
