About the Role

Securecorp is seeking a dedicated and experienced Full Time Security Site Supervisor to lead security operations across our retail site portfolio in Tasmania. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for overseeing daily site operations, supervising security personnel, ensuring compliance with site procedures, and maintaining a safe and secure environment for tenants, visitors, and stakeholders.

You will play a key role in coordinating security activities, responding to incidents, supporting your team, and delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining the highest professional standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support security officers across the site
  • Coordinate daily security operations and roster coverage
  • Monitor site activities and ensure compliance with procedures
  • Respond to emergencies, incidents, and alarm activations
  • Liaise with site management, tenants, and stakeholders
  • Conduct patrols, access control, and incident investigations
  • Complete incident reports, shift logs, and operational documentation
  • Mentor team members and maintain high performance standards
  • Deliver professional customer service and conflict resolution

Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Current Security Licence and valid First Aid Certificate
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership security role
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent report writing and computer literacy skills
  • Ability to manage incidents calmly and effectively
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
  • Flexibility to work rotating rosters including days, nights, and weekends
  • A dependable, professional, and proactive approach
