About the Role:
We are seeking full-time experienced Gatehouse Security Officers to join a busy production facility in Minto, NSW. Ideal candidates must meet all the mandatory requirements listed below. This role requires a solid background in gatehouse security, with the ability to manage strict access control, site-specific protocols, high vehicle/delivery traffic and digital security systems. The position operates on a rotating roster consisting of both 8-hour and 12-hour shifts. Successful applicants must be flexible and available to work either shift length based on operational requirements, including days, nights, weekends and public holidays.

Key Responsibilities
- Control site access, ensuring only authorised personnel, visitors, trucks, and contractors enter
- Enforce strict site protocols site-specific induction requirements
- Operate DSX access control systems
- Conduct overnight external patrols
- Manage CCTV surveillance and monitor security feeds
- Respond to and manage security incidents
- Strong Phone and PA system communication
- Complete comprehensive digital daily reports and use QR code systems for compliance tracking
- Operate body cameras in accordance with security procedures
- Manage high volumes of vehicle movements, deliveries, and contractor interactions in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ gatehouse or security operations experience
- Must be available and willing to work a combination of both 8-hour and 12-hour shifts as required by the roster
- Strong monitoring, patrolling, and access control capability
- Solid understanding of safety protocols and emergency response
- Good English communication and report‑writing skills
- Customer‑focused, professional presentation
- High attention to detail and accurate record‑keeping
- Valid NSW Security Licence
- Physically fit for patrols and security checks
- Flexibility for varied shifts (nights/weekends/public holidays)
- First Aid & CPR
- Experience in high‑security environments (advantageous)
