Your new company
We are currently recruiting for a reliable and experienced Gateman to work on a busy new build housing development in Whalley. This is a key role on site, responsible for managing access, ensuring site safety, and maintaining an organised entrance/exit point.
Your new role
- Controlling access to the site (vehicles, workers, deliveries, and visitors)
- Checking and logging deliveries and ensuring correct unloading areas
- Managing traffic flow in and out of the site safely
- Maintaining site security at the gate
- Signing visitors in and out in line with site procedures
- Liaising with site management and trades
- Keeping the entrance area clean and tidy
- Ensuring all health & safety protocols are followed at all times
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience as a Gateman / Traffic Marshall on construction sites
- Valid CSCS card (essential)
- Traffic Marshal / Banksman ticket (preferred but not essential)
- Strong communication skills
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Good awareness of health & safety on site
