Experienced GM or VP level sales leader is required by our global Cybersecurity Consultancy
The General Manager will head the Dubai-based cybersecurity consultancy practice. owning the regional P&L for all of the GCC as well as directing business development strategies and scaling a high-performing technical team.
This role requires cultivating C-level relationships across government and private sectors while ensuring exceptional delivery of security strategies, risk management, and managed services and will require somebody with strong connections across the UAE and KSA
Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Operations
- P&L Management: Assume full accountability for regional financial targets, budgeting, and revenue forecasting.
- Operational Scale: Oversee day-to-day business operations, optimize internal workflows, and allocate technical resources efficiently.
- Market Expansion: Define and execute the consultancy's growth strategy across Dubai and the wider GCC region.
Business Development & Client Management
- C-Suite Advisory: Act as a trusted strategic advisor to enterprise and government clients on complex cybersecurity issues.
- Sales Pipeline: Drive the acquisition of new enterprise accounts and retain high-value consultancy clients.
- Strategic Partnerships: Build strong ties with regional technology distributors, system integrators, and global vendors
Service Delivery & Quality Assurance
- Portfolio Oversight: Oversee the delivery of specialized services, including VAPT, Incident Response, GRC, Managed Detection and Response (MDR), and AI security architecture
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all client deliverables comply with stringent UAE standards, such as DESC (Dubai Electronic Security Center), NESA, and ADISS frameworks.
- Delivery Excellence: Guarantee that consulting engagements are delivered on time, within scope, and at the highest quality thresholds.
Team Leadership & Development
- Talent Acquisition: Recruit, mentor, and retain a multi-disciplinary team of security architects, penetration testers, and GRC analysts.
- Capability Building: Foster a culture of continuous learning, ensuring the technical team stays ahead of emerging global threats
Requirements & Qualifications
Experience & Education
- Years of Experience: Minimum of 12–15+ years in the cybersecurity industry, with at least 5–7+ years in an executive leadership or P&L-owning role within a professional services consultancy
- Regional Track Record: Proven experience navigating the UAE or broader GCC technology and cybersecurity marketplace
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or an IT-related field. An MBA or an Executive Leadership certification is highly preferred.
Technical Certifications (Preferred)
- Core Management: CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) or CISM (Certified Information Security Manager).
- Frameworks & Architecture: Deep familiarity with ISO 27001, NIST, SABSA, or TOGAF.
Soft Skills
- Outstanding bilingual command (English is mandatory; Arabic is a significant advantage in dealing with local government entities).
- Exceptional commercial, negotiation, and public-speaking skills.
