Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL Group) is seeking a visionary Group Director – Platform & Infrastructure Services to lead the development, deployment, and management of IT infrastructure platforms across the organization. This senior leadership role ensures operational excellence, innovation, and alignment with PTCL’s mission to drive digital transformation in Pakistan through integrated ICT and cellular network services.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, deployment, and lifecycle management of all IT infrastructure and platform solutions.
- Oversee daily operations of Microsoft, Windows, Linux/Unix systems, enterprise servers, and databases.
- Manage storage, backup, archiving, and end-user support services ensuring system reliability and KPI achievement.
- Conduct budgeting, financial planning, and asset lifecycle management for IT infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, change/configuration management, and SLA commitments.
- Build and mentor a high-performing infrastructure and NOC team; foster strong vendor and partner relationships.
- Collaborate across departments to deliver seamless IT services and drive technology modernization initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with security, audit, and operational standards across the IT infrastructure domain.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Relevant professional certifications in Networks, Systems, Databases, or Virtualization.
- Minimum 10–15 years of experience in IT infrastructure leadership, ideally in telecom or enterprise environments.
- Strong understanding of Private/Public Cloud, Microsoft Solutions, Database Administration (Oracle and non-Oracle), Linux/Unix Systems, SAN Storage, and Backup Solutions.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven record of budget management, project delivery, and IT service operations.
