Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, ensuring that all safety protocols are followed and that any suspicious activities are reported promptly.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activities.
- Operate surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to ensure comprehensive coverage of the premises.
- Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, conducting thorough investigations as necessary.
- Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order and ensure safety within the facility.
- Assist visitors and employees as needed, ensuring a welcoming environment while maintaining security protocols.
- Prepare detailed reports on daily activities, incidents, and any security breaches for management review.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary during investigations or emergencies.
Requirements
- Previous experience in law enforcement or loss prevention is mandatory.
- Familiarity with surveillance systems, including CCTV operation and monitoring techniques.
- Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert and focused during long shifts.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective reporting and interaction with the public.
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally while making quick decisions.
- Must be able to pass background checks as required by company policy.
- Physical fitness is essential; candidates should be able to stand for extended periods and respond quickly in emergencies.
- Use of Force Certification Required (Able to make physical arrests).
- Physically strong.
- Trained in verbal De-Escalation.
