Role Description The Head of Delivery, Information Security is a full-time hybrid role based in the United Kingdom, with a blend of on-site client engagement and work from home. This role leads the end-to-end delivery of information security and cybersecurity services, ensuring that client engagements are scoped, planned, and executed effectively. Day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing security programs, coordinating risk assessments, managing incident response and business continuity initiatives, and ensuring data privacy controls are implemented. The role involves collaborating with client stakeholders, guiding them through cyber risk decisions, translating technical issues into clear business terms, and aligning security initiatives with organizational goals. The Head of Delivery also mentors delivery teams, improves delivery frameworks and methodologies, and contributes to thought leadership and service development within Muse Cyber.
Qualifications
- Strong Information Security Management and Information Security skills, including designing and overseeing security frameworks and policies.
- Proficiency in Cybersecurity practices, such as threat assessment, risk management, incident response, and security operations oversight.
- Experience with Business Continuity planning, disaster recovery, and resilience strategies for growing organizations.
- Knowledge of Data Privacy requirements, including regulatory frameworks and privacy-by-design principles.
- Proven experience leading delivery of security programs or services, ideally in a consulting or managed services environment.
- Ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders, including boards and executive leadership, and communicate complex topics in accessible language.
- Demonstrated experience working in or with small and mid-sized organizations, preferably within diverse sectors.
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor) and a degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Strong organizational, project management, and people leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple client engagements simultaneously.
