Job Summary :

Responsible for leading and managing the organization's IT infrastructure to ensure the availability, reliability, security, scalability, and performance of critical technology services.

The role oversees data centre and disaster recovery facilities, servers, storage, networks, communication platforms, end-user computing, and related infrastructure services while driving operational excellence, resilience, and continuous improvement to support business operations and digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Develop and implement the organization's IT Infrastructure Strategy, Roadmap, and Technology Modernisation initiatives aligned with business and ICT objectives.
2. Lead and manage the operation of Data Centre, Disaster Recovery Centre (DRC), Servers, Storage, Operating Systems, Networks, and Enterprise Communication Platforms to ensure high availability, reliability, and performance.
3. Ensure IT infrastructure capacity, scalability, resilience, and operational readiness to support current and future business requirements.
4. Oversee infrastructure monitoring, incident management, service availability, performance optimisation, and continuous improvement initiatives to maintain agreed service levels.
5. Manage infrastructure architecture, technical standards, system upgrades, technology refresh programmes, and infrastructure implementation projects.
6. Ensure effective Disaster Recovery (DR), Business Continuity (BCP), backup, and infrastructure resilience capabilities are established, tested, and maintained.
7. Manage infrastructure vendors, service providers, contracts, and service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure quality service delivery and operational excellence.
8. Ensure infrastructure platforms are maintained in accordance with cybersecurity requirements, technology standards, compliance obligations, and operational policies.
9. Lead infrastructure budgeting, resource planning, technology investments, and cost optimisation initiatives.
10. Lead, develop, and manage the IT Infrastructure team while fostering a culture of operational excellence, accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Requirements :

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• Master's Degree and relevant professional certifications are an added advantage.

Experience

• Minimum 10 years of experience in IT Infrastructure, Technology Operations, or related ICT functions.
• Minimum 8 years in a leadership or management role.
• Proven experience managing Data Centre, Disaster Recovery, Network, Server, Storage, Cloud Infrastructure, and IT Operations.
• Experience in vendor management, SLA management, infrastructure projects, and budget planning.
• Strong knowledge of Business Continuity (BCP), Disaster Recovery (DR), and Infrastructure Security.
• Experience in large organisations, GLCs, government agencies, or regulated industries is preferred.
