Responsibilities
Campus & Infrastructure Management
- Oversee maintenance and upkeep of school buildings, classrooms, utilities, and equipment
- Ensure optimal functioning of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and safety systems
Administration & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with local education authorities, safety norms, fire regulations, and statutory requirements
- Maintain documentation for inspections, licenses, and audits
Transport Management
- Oversee school transport operations including routing, vendor management, and safety protocols
Vendor & Contract Management
- Identify, onboard, and manage vendors for housekeeping, security, cafeteria, maintenance, etc.
- Negotiate contracts and ensure service quality and cost efficiency
Safety & Security
- Implement and monitor campus-wide safety protocols
- Supervise security staff and surveillance systems (CCTV, access control)
- Conduct regular safety drills and risk assessments
Facility Services Management
- Ensure high standards of housekeeping, sanitation, and hygiene
Budgeting & Cost Control
- Prepare and manage operational budgets
- Monitor expenses and identify opportunities for cost optimization
- Parent & Stakeholder Interface
- Address operational concerns raised by parents
- Ensure timely resolution of grievances related to non academic areas.
Required Skills
Relevant educational background in management, administration, or a related field.
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficient in budgeting and financial management
- Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards
