The US Helpdesk Representative at Recruit AI plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality customer support to merchants within the financial services sector. This position demands a strong focus on customer satisfaction, combined with technical expertise in payment terminals and point-of-sale (POS) systems. Working onsite in Lahore with US time zone hours, the representative handles inquiries efficiently, ensuring merchants receive timely assistance and accurate information. The role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage various processes to maintain transaction integrity without managing a team.
This position collaborates closely with sales and IT operations to ensure smooth onboarding and continuous support of new and existing merchants. The representative is responsible for updating pricing information, resolving issues proactively, and maintaining detailed records through CRM and ticketing systems. This role is ideal for individuals with a minimum of five years experience in customer support, particularly within financial or merchant services environments, who possess strong technical aptitude and the ability to work effectively during US business hours.
Responsibilities
- Promptly address and resolve customer service inquiries related to payment terminals and POS systems.
- Manage and facilitate merchant processes, ensuring the security and integrity of financial transactions.
- Maintain and update accurate pricing data to support merchant operations and sales efforts.
- Collaborate with sales teams to enable a seamless onboarding experience for new merchants.
- Use CRM and ticketing systems to track, manage, and document customer interactions and issue resolutions.
- Identify potential problems early and implement proactive solutions to reduce disruptions.
- Prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet the requirements of the US business schedule.
- Communicate clearly and professionally in both written and verbal English to maintain excellent customer relationships.
- Leverage knowledge of POS systems and payment terminals to provide technical troubleshooting and support.
- Utilize business software tools such as Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel to support reporting and communication.
