About The Job
- To ensure a safe, secure, and compliant working environment by overseeing health, safety, and security operations on site, including hazard identification, risk mitigation, and monitoring of security systems to protect people, assets, and operations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety standards, regulations, and internal policies.
- Develop and deliver toolbox talks and safety training programs to staff.
- Plan and organize emergency response drills and ensure all emergency equipment is functional.
- Investigate accidents and near-misses to determine root causes and prevent recurrence.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, incidents, and safety training activities.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential hazards and improvement areas.
- Ensure continuous (24/7) security coverage across the site.
- Enforce security policies, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
- Control and monitor access for personnel, visitors, vehicles, and goods.
- Prevent unauthorized access, theft, and tampering of company assets.
- Oversee CCTV monitoring systems and manage control room operations.
- Report all Health & Safety non-compliance issues through CAPA.
- Supervise site security operations and manage incident response effectively.
- Ensure proper compliance reporting for both safety and security functions.
Requirements
- Diploma in Environmental Health Sciences or any related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in security and safety supervision, preferably in logistics or related industries.
- Possession of NOSHC 1 and NOSHC 2 certifications.
- Strong knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety regulations and practices.
- Experience in CCTV monitoring and control room operations.
- Knowledge of access control systems, asset protection, and site security risks.
- Understanding of incident reporting, emergency response, and investigation procedures.
- Strong documentation, reporting, and communication skills.
- High level of attention to detail and ability to enforce compliance.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to respond to emergencies effectively.
