Cybersecurity Analyst – Security Awareness & Training (3-5 years of experience)
We are looking for a Junior Cybersecurity Awareness & Training professional to support and further develop organizational security awareness initiatives.
This role is well suited for an early-career cybersecurity professional who wants hands-on experience with security awareness, training delivery, phishing defense, and human-centric security controls in a large, distributed organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Security Awareness Program Support
- Support the development, maintenance, and improvement of cybersecurity awareness programs, including e-learning modules, live training sessions, and targeted awareness campaigns.
- Training Content Development
- Create and update security awareness materials such as presentations, e-learning content, simulations, job aids, and short instructional videos for different employee groups.
- Training Delivery & Facilitation
- Support and deliver cybersecurity awareness training sessions (onsite and virtual), covering topics such as:
- Phishing and social engineering
- Secure handling of data and information
- Password and identity hygiene
- General cybersecurity best practices
- Policy and compliance-related security topics
- Phishing & Awareness Testing
- Assist with phishing simulations, awareness tests, quizzes, and other activities used to measure user awareness and behavioral improvement.
- Metrics & Reporting Support
- Collect, structure, and support reporting on training participation, completion rates, phishing results, and awareness metrics.
- Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with information security, IT, compliance, and business stakeholders to ensure training activities are aligned with security policies and organizational requirements.
- Continuous Learning
- Stay updated on emerging cyber threats, phishing techniques, and awareness trends to keep training content relevant and effective.
Required Experience & Skills
- 2–5 years of experience within one or more of the following areas:
- Cybersecurity awareness or training
- Information security or IT security
- Security-focused IT support or advisory roles
- Relevant internships, graduate roles, or early-career positions
- Foundational understanding of:
- Common cyber threats and attack vectors
- Phishing, social engineering, and user-related security risks
- Basic information security principles and best practices
- Experience with or exposure to:
- Learning Management Systems (LMS) or e-learning platforms
- Creation or maintenance of training or awareness materials
- Delivering or supporting training for non-technical audiences
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain security topics clearly and practically.
