Job Description
- Assist in implementing cybersecurity policies, controls, and regulatory compliance measures.
- Oversee the incident handling and assess the impact across banking systems.
- Support technology/cyber risk assessments, risk management and security audits.
- Collaborate with IT, product, and operations teams to ensure secure system and application deployment.
- Research emerging threats and contribute to security awareness initiatives and improvement projects.
- Support data governance activities, including data classification, access management, data handling standards, and data quality oversight.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing/possesses a Bachelor’s Degree and above in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Engineering, or other technology-related fields, expected to graduate by July 2026 and join us by Aug 2026.
- Strong interest in cybersecurity, information security governance, risk management, and security operations etc.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess security risks and translate findings into clear, actionable reports.
- Detail-oriented, organised, and able to manage time-sensitive security tasks with accuracy and consistency.
- Proficient in security or IT tools and comfortable learning new technologies or security platforms.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities, with the confidence to work closely with cross-functional stakeholders such as IT, risk, audit, and engineering.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment with evolving security threats.
