About The Job
As a Security Engineer, you will be a key member of our IT team and take ownership of securing Celsion Bank's cloud and infrastructure landscape. You will design, implement, and maintain security solutions that protect our digital-asset banking platform against evolving threats — while ensuring compliance with financial regulatory standards. You will play a central role in shaping the bank's security posture and contribute directly to its long-term IT security strategy.
Your responsibilities
- Design, implement, and continuously improve cloud security architecture (Azure)
- Monitor and respond to security threats across infrastructure, endpoints, and cloud environments
- Lead vulnerability management, penetration testing coordination, and remediation efforts
- Implement and maintain security controls in line with regulatory requirements (DORA, ISO 27001, MiCAR)
- Manage identity and access management (IAM), network security, and data protection policies
- Automate security processes and integrate security into CI/CD pipelines (DevSecOps)
- Act as the primary contact for security-related incidents and provide 2nd/3rd level response
- Collaborate with IT, compliance, and business units to embed security across the organization
- Evaluate emerging threats and technologies and propose proactive mitigation strategies
- Maintain security documentation, policies, and contribute to awareness initiatives
What you offer
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of professional experience in a security-focused engineering role
- Strong knowledge in:
- Cloud security (Azure Security Center, Defender for Cloud, Sentinel)
- Network security, firewalls, and zero-trust architectures
- Identity & Access Management (Entra ID / Azure AD)
- SIEM, vulnerability scanning, and endpoint protection
- Experience with security automation (PowerShell, KQL, or similar).
- Solid understanding of regulatory frameworks relevant to financial institutions (DORA, ISO 27001).
- Banking or fintech experience is a strong plus.
- Strong analytical thinking and a structured approach to risk assessment
- Proactive, independent, and team-oriented work style
