Information Security Officer Jobs in North Brabant, Netherlands at Amoria Bond
Title: Information Security Officer
Company: Amoria Bond
Location: North Brabant, Netherlands
Information Security Officer
Location: Den Bosch
Who you are:
A proactive, pragmatic, and hands-on security professional with a strong background in IT, cybersecurity, and stakeholder engagement. Alongside your technical expertise, you bring the communication and leadership skills needed to strengthen digital resilience within a large and complex organization.
You will work within a bilingual team of approximately 17 professionals, including information security officers, a security architect, a risk manager, and business continuity specialists. The team combines different levels of expertise and collaborates closely in an informal and supportive environment, with regular in-person collaboration days (Thursdays) to strengthen teamwork and knowledge sharing.
This role offers a high degree of autonomy and flexibility. You are comfortable working independently while maintaining close communication with colleagues and stakeholders across the organization.
Your responsibilities:
As an experienced Information Security Officer, you play both an advisory and implementation-focused role. You actively contribute to improving and securing the IT landscape by helping design, implement, evaluate, and optimize security measures across the organization.
Working closely with engineers, architects, and other specialists, you help ensure that security remains practical, scalable, and aligned with business objectives. Rather than focusing solely on governance or compliance, you contribute directly to building resilient and secure environments.
How you work:
You have a practical “can-do” mindset and take ownership of delivering measurable security improvements. You continuously evaluate whether controls are effective in practice and look for ways to make security both robust and workable.
This is not a purely compliance-driven position. You are someone who collaborates with teams, facilitates discussions, and enables secure progress. You combine analytical thinking with pragmatism and can clearly explain and justify security decisions in complex environments.

- Familiarity with commonly used security standards and frameworks
- Ability to view compliance as a strategic enabler that supports both protection and operational efficiency
- Strong communication skills in both Dutch and English
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or equivalent are considered a plus
