ROLE DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a driven and technically versatile Mid-Level IT Engineer to join our growing infrastructure team. In this role, you will be at the intersection of backend operations, cloud architecture, and emerging AI technologies. You will be supporting and reporting to our CEO to maintain, scale, and innovate our technology ecosystem — with a particular focus on AWS cloud services, Meta platform integrations, and AI-powered tools such as Claude.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Backend Operations
• Design, deploy, and maintain scalable backend infrastructure and services
• Monitor system health, performance metrics, and uptime SLAs
• Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents with a focus on root-cause analysis
• Maintain and contribute to DevOps best practices
Administration & Systems
• Manage user access, permissions, and identity management across platforms
• Oversee IT asset lifecycle including procurement, configuration, and decommissioning
• Enforce security policies, patch management, and compliance standards
• Document system configurations, SOPs, and runbooks
AWS Cloud Infrastructure
• Architect and manage AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and VPC
• Optimize cloud costs through resource rightsizing and usage analysis
• Implement infrastructure-as-code using tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation
• Ensure cloud environments adhere to security and compliance
Meta Platform Integration
• Manage and integrate Meta Business Suite APIs for operational workflows
• Support advertising, analytics, and data pipeline integrations with Meta platforms
• Liaise with Meta developer tools and troubleshoot API-related issues
AI Tools & Claude/LLM Expertise
• Serve as an internal subject-matter expert on AI clause governance and AI tool usage policies
• Evaluate, implement, and maintain AI-powered tools across business functions
• Define and enforce responsible AI usage clauses in vendor agreements and internal policies
• Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to review AI-related contractual language
• Stay current on emerging LLM capabilities, risks, and regulatory developments
REQUIREMENTS
Experience & Education
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in IT engineering or a related technical role
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience
• Demonstrated track record of owning infrastructure projects end-to-end
Soft Skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Collaborative team player with a proactive, ownership-driven mindset
