Role Summary
- High-impact individual contributor responsible for owning and advancing the company’s overall security posture
- Acts as the primary security expert across cloud, endpoint, and M365 environments
- Leads security operations, incident response, and strategic initiatives, including emerging AI security governance
- Opportunity to build and shape security programs from the ground up in a tech-forward, regulated organization
Core Responsibilities
- Own day-to-day security operations, monitoring, and incident response
- Lead development of security policies, standards, and procedures
- Manage endpoint detection & response (EDR/XDR) and threat hunting
- Secure and administer cloud (AWS) and Microsoft 365 environments
- Conduct vulnerability management, penetration test reviews, and remediation
- Implement security tools, controls, and awareness programs
- Manage vendor risk assessments and compliance initiatives
- Deliver reporting and metrics to leadership
- Lead and maintain incident response planning and testing
Key Focus Area: AI Security
- Own AI security strategy and governance across the organization
- Conduct risk assessments on AI tools / LLMs
- Establish acceptable use policies and controls for AI adoption
- Monitor emerging risks (e.g., prompt injection, data leakage)
- Partner with engineering/product to ensure secure AI implementation
Basic Requirements (Must-Have)
- 3+ years in Information Security / Security Analyst role
- Strong hands-on experience in:
- Security operations & incident response
- Vulnerability management programs
- Understanding of frameworks:
- NIST CSF, ISO 27001, or similar
- Strong communication skills (translate risk to business context)
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment

The salary range for this position is $120,000 to $150,000.
