About the Role
The IT Security Officer/Manager will be responsible for protecting the organization’s information systems, networks, applications, and cloud environments from cyber threats. The role will also lead security policy implementation, risk management initiatives, compliance efforts, and security awareness programs across the company.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop, implement, and maintain IT security policies, standards, and procedures
• Monitor and secure networks, servers, endpoints, applications, and cloud environments
• Ensure secure configurations, patch management, and vulnerability remediation
• Lead security incident detection, investigation, and response activities
• Support internal and external security audits and compliance requirements
• Conduct security awareness and phishing training programs
• Collaborate with IT, HR, Legal, and business units to integrate security into operations
Must-Have Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
• At least 3 years of experience in IT Security
• Experience in cybersecurity operations, incident response, and security monitoring
• Relevant IT Security certifications and experience
• Willing to work onsite in Taguig, Metro Manila
Good-to-Have
• Exposure to cloud security environments
• Experience handling security audits and compliance activities
• Experience conducting security awareness training programs
