Job Description – Roles and Responsibilities
- Reporting to the Hierarchy: within the Security department, Traceability/Audit/Reporting (TAR) team under the supervision of the team leader
- Operational mission relating to the ELK software suite (ElasticSearch, Kibana, Logstash, Elastic Security, Elastic Defend) and corollaries (Apache Kafka)
- Proven expertise in Fleet architecture and Elastic Agent management (integration, policies, deployment at scale). Experience with Elastic Security 9.x versions is imperative.
- Participate in the design and deployment of the collection architecture (Fleet Server, endpoints) as well as the implementation and maintenance of log ingestion pipelines from different sources relating to the various security IT services (Firewall, WAF, IAM, IDS/IPS, etc.)
- Transform and normalise data according to the Elastic Common Schema (ECS) standard.
- Participate in the implementation and configuration of the Elastic Security SIEM module for the detection and analysis of security events based on pre-defined use cases
- Participate in the deployment and configuration, according to use cases and threat modelling, of Elastic Agents on identified servers (mainly Linux, Windows) for collection, endpoint protection and behavioural analysis (Elastic Defend), including security policy management and agent lifecycle via Fleet
- Participate in the definition of dashboards and alerts necessary for monitoring and supervision
- Assist internal teams in increasing their skills on Elastic operational and security best practices
- Write technical and operational documentation to guarantee the sustainability of the solution and facilitate knowledge transfer.
